The chair of the MPI and senior VP of sales for the Venetian Resort, Las Vegas, Chandra Allison recently put out a video to members, encouraging them to reach out during these “difficult and unprecedented times.”
Allison also said that she “sent wishes from my family to yours that everyone is safe and healthy.”
She said that whilst many people in the meeting and events industry are finding these to be “extremely challenging times”, she found hope within the MPI community, saying: “our connections with each other have helped us thrive in the past, and make us strong.”
Allison also encouraged viewers to engage with the free education and resources provided by the MPI.
Allison finished the video by saying that being connected to the MPI community is “more important now than ever” and urged those who were facing financial difficulties to reach out to the MPI to see what options are available for them.
