Whether to benefit from marketing support, industry advocacy, or valuable market insights or perhaps to benchmark your performance against peers and gain exclusive access to best practice guides and resources, IACC is focused on smaller and medium-sized venues for meetings, training courses, and conferences, members conform to comprehensive global criteria and standards, with 300 members across 25 countries.

What does IACC do?

Corporate venue organisers need to deliver innovative and unexpected ideas, stay ahead of trends and providing engaging learning environments.

The IACC community is a network of venue specialists, and through events and learning opportunities, members can build strong relationships with their peers. Additionally, corporate venues can also benefit from venue study tours, gaining insights into best practices. Private and corporate venues operating for a single organisation’s training, meetings, and conferences can apply for IACC membership, including government agency and higher education venues.

Certification

The IACC Green Star certification covers a wide range of environmental and sustainability standards, making it well-known within the industry. To become certified, members must update their adherence to the code. The ‘Code of Sustainability’ includes 60 tenets including education, awareness and public declaration, waste management, recycling, reuse, water conservation, purchasing, energy management, air quality, food & beverage, and social responsibility. It is valid for two years and requires renewal every two years. The IACC offers three tiers of participation. Members that achieve 100% of the code qualify for the Platinum Tier, those that achieve 85% qualify for the Gold Tier, and those that achieve 75% qualify for the Silver Tier.

There are five categories of IACC membership available globally, each with specific eligibility criteria.
