ZSL London Zoo opened its doors to over 250 event bookers on 11 September for a private viewing. It was the first preview event since the Zoo invested £4.6m to create its new Terrace Restaurant and events facility.
Housed in the Zoo’s Regents Building, the new space features a double height 40ft ceiling and is overlooked by a mezzanine level that leads onto an upper terrace deck designed to afford unique views across the Zoo.
Guests also visited the recently opened Tiger Territory and the Mappin Pavilion in the Zoo’s 36-acre central London site.
With an animal print dress code optional, bookers enjoyed drinks with the tigers, watched Penguin beach Live and then toured the Zoo’s facilities.
