Wyboston Lakes Resort, a conference, event and training venue based in Bedfordshire, has announced its partnership with The Princes Trust, a charity which supports vulnerable young people, for its ‘Get Into’ programme.
The programme aims to prepare the next generation of hospitality and event professionals for the industry and will take place from 18 November to 1 December.
It will welcome six professionals to gain work experience across Wyboston Lakes Resort’s onsite venues, which includes the Woodlands Event Centre and Willows Training Centre.
Interns will gain experience in the food and beverage sector, alongside training in conference and event hosting.
On the 2 December, the programme will end with a ‘celebration event’, which will include presentations, certificates, group photos and a buffet lunch.
An official taster day will also take place on 12 November, which will involve a series of group activities to ensure the new interns build rapports.
