Wyboston Lakes Resort has expanded its team by appointing Lydia Tickner to the newly created role of head of meetings and events.

Tickner (pictured) will be responsible for ensuring revenue targets are exceeded and the event diary is filled.

She brings more than 12 years of experience in planning and delivering events – mostly recently with the Royal Institution of Great Britain and Rothamsted Enterprises. Her career began at English Heritage where Tickner curated large-scale public events that included jousts and battles. She has also organised corporate events for a London-based agency.

Christine Gomez, director of revenue, Wyboston Lakes Resort, said: “Lydia’s wealth of experience and passion for event management align perfectly with our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for our clients. With Lydia’s support, we are confident in reaching new heights and setting new industry standards.”
