Wise Hotel Limited has bought the Ramada Warwick Hotel and Conference Centre in Kenilworth from administrators, safeguarding 30 jobs.
David Bennett and Joe McLean of Grant Thornton, joint administrators of Fortmere Group, sold the conference centre in Chesford Bridge to Wise Hotel for an undisclosed cash sum.
Ramada Warwick is one of three West Midlands-based hotels within the Fortmere Group, which went into administration in May this year.
Last month its sister hotel Ramada Park Hall in Wolverhampton was sold, preserving more than 100 jobs.
The Ramada Birmingham Oldbury Hotel remains unsold.
Mr Bennett said: “The administrators have traded the Ramada Warwick since May and we are very pleased to now sell the hotel, particularly in what are still challenging times for many sectors of the economy.”
Ravi Johal, Director at Wise Hotel, added: “We are very pleased to be expanding our hotel footprint in the Midlands and look to make improvements to the Ramada Warwick Hotel immediately. We aim to enhance the hotel’s trading in both business and tourist markets and look forward to working with the very experienced team already in place.”
Wise Hotel also owns the Days Hotel Coventry City.
