Which Christmas party animal are you? It’s not a question many of us have presumably given much thought. A goose? A robin red breast? A reindeer, perhaps?
Results from the “What Christmas Party Animal Are You?” questionnaire, conducted by Eventist’s Best Parties Ever, have revealed that not only should your assigned animal be prefixed by an adjective, but also that there is a curious North-South divide across Britain.
The questionnaire found that Londoners found themselves labelled “Trendy Tigers” and “Dazzling Swans”. A supporting definition read: “sleek and elegant party goers who prefer events to be full of panache.”
However, beyond the Watford Gap the results were somewhat different. Leeds, for example, appears to be made up of “Strutting Peacocks” and “Pretty Parrots”. These ornithological species are defined as being the “best-dressed attendees at the party who love to shake their tail feathers.”
Indeed.
The questionnaire also deduced that the majority of women thought themselves “Eager Beavers”. The beaver is a well-known perfectionist with a strong workaholic demeanour.
Men, meanwhile, were reported to fancy themselves as “Frivolous Foxes”. Foxes are known throughout the animal kingdom for their charming personas and penchant for alcohol and buffet abuse.
Staggeringly, only 2% of polled Britons thought themselves “Mindful Moles”, the shy ones, the ones who burrow under wealthy estate owners’ lawns and who would much rather stay at home with a pizza.
This Christmas, Best Parties Ever will cater for 175,000 guests across 22 locations. Their planned parties include “Dream Circus”, “Neo Victorian Fantasy” and “Midnight in Monte Carlo”.
Managing director of Eventist Group, Tim Stevens said: “It is great to see that there are so many fun-loving party animals out there, and we love that these vary from north to south. At Best Parties Ever, we aim to cater for all personality types through an array of themes, cuisine, entertainment and decorations. We hope that both Strutting Peacocks and Mindful Moles will enjoy their time at a Best Parties Ever Christmas party”.
