W&O Events won the UK heat of VisitDenmark’s MINDchallenge, which took place at Danish designer store REPUBLIC of Fritz Hansen in London.
Agencies W&O Events and Icon Presentations delivered two pitches and fought hard about winning the challenge, while some 20 British meeting planners to took the opportunity to mingle with Danish hoteliers and DMCs and taste the ’New Nordic Cuisine’? delivered by the Michelin-rated North Road restaurant in London.
At the event, the agencies pitched their proposals for an innovative and creative two-three day programme for a company conference to take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, for 50 senior executives travelling from key cities around Europe, to a panel of independent judges from Indesit, Innocent and Barclays.
After voting the judges announced W&O Events as the winner of the UK heat of MINDchallenge who a Bang and Olufsen BeoSound 8 worth £750 and now will go on to compete with agencies from North America, Germany, Sweden and Norway on 1st August 2012 in London.
“Its the second time we participate in the competition, which is a brilliant opportunity to get a ’free artistic license’ to do a Copenhagen pitch to some high calibre corporate judges and to get immediate feedback from such useful sources – we want more of that,” said MINDchallenge winner, Ben Cooke of W&O Events.
