Venues and Events International has created three new positions: event account manager, dedicated event account manager and an additional executive assistant to the CEO.
This decision is due to clients reviewing their existing meetings and events programmes due to the evolving environment.
Anita Lowe, CEO of Venues and Events International, said: “As we have seen our clients evolve, we have evolved with them. We have identified a requirement for an even more bespoke service to meet individual client needs which has led to the newly created positions.”
Greg Knight (pictured left) joins the company as its events account manager. Knight has experience in hospitality, meetings and events, where previous roles include group business development manager for etc. venues and Lime Venue Portfolio.
Rachael Lakin (pictured centre) has been appointed as a dedicated implant for a client in construction who has seen increased demand in health and safety requirements in events in recent years. Lakin will be working directly from the client’s office and will immerse herself within the team to deliver their events programme. This will be carried out with the additional support of the events team at Venues and Events International.
Rebecca Read (pictured right) is the most recent appointment, joining as an additional executive assistant to the CEO, Anita Lowe. This is a dual role aims to assist the executive team at Venues and Events International, as well as providing dedicated management for one client and their board meetings at their head office in London.
Lowe concluded: “These new appointments demonstrate the value we believe is required to deliver a bespoke service to each of our clients. And in addition to these new appointments, the family at Absolute Corporate Events are also expanding with its own team with new appointments soon to be announced. It really is an exciting future ahead for us as we continue to grow the entire Venues and Events International family.”
