Venuemasters London, an offshoot of Venuemasters national, is a series of academic venues who work together to promote the interests of academic venues to meeting and event buyers. The collection hosted a showcase event in the East Wing of Somerset House, London recently.
Venues represented included Goldsmiths College, University of London; Regents Conferences & Events; UCL; Senate House – University of London; Kings Venues at King’s College London; University of Greenwich; Conference Roehampton; Events & Hospitality QM (Queen Mary); Park Crescent Conference Centre; London Metropolitan University; Imperial College London; and the University of Westminster.
The event included an iceskating session on the first day of Somerset House’s iconic temporary ice rink and a welcome mug of hot chocolate provided byKings Venues at King’s College London.
The event helped to raise the profile of Venuemasters’ free enquiry service and what it offers through PR and networking, alongside digital presence through the portal at venuemasterslondon.com thus, although the group has a London focus, it also promotes the wider organisation.
