London venue operator Venue Lab has opened a major new East London venue, Dock X London, to add to its growing portfolio.

Located just 200 metres from Canada Water Station, Dock X London is also a five-minute tube ride from London Bridge via the Jubilee Line.

With over 3,000sqm of open-plan space, ceiling heights of 7 metres and large windows overlooking the waters of Surrey Quays, Dock X London offers a blank canvas for exhibitions, conferences, and other events for up to 1500 attendees.

Vibration Group CEO Simon Tracey commented: “We have had excellent early interest from our recent open day from event curators, live agencies and major corporates looking for a new blank canvas space for landmark events and activations. We are excited about the latest addition to our growing portfolio of innovative and flexible venues”.

In December, Timeout and Deliveroo teamed up to bring Dock X London its first two events – Fried Chicken Fight Club and Battle of the Broth. These ticketed events saw around 2,500 guests through the door across both weekends and proved a huge success.

Steve Marsh, Time Out’s event manager, said: “Hosting our event at Dock X London was ideal for our brand, we were able to create such an intimate experience in such a large warehouse space. The flexibility available within the space allowed us to curate the exact environment we wanted for our guests.”

Dock X London is operated by Venue Lab in partnership with Sellar and Notting Hill Genesis. James Sellar, CEO of Sellar commented, “Dock X London is central to our commitment to providing a diverse and vibrant development at Canada Water and we look forward to working with our partners to bring an exciting mix of local interest and inbound activations and events to this new space”.
