“The networking evening went well, especially with the cupcake decorating competition, which was won by Zoe Taylor of the teambuilding company CCC Events,” says Business Development Manager, Amanda Cole. “She won a homemade giant chocolate filled Easter Egg.

“We had tours of the conference centre and many people took advantage of the networking and swapped cards with other businesses. I was told by one guest he may have secured approximately £25k of business from the event,” she adds. “We’re trying to make more people aware of the facilities we can offer and change people’s minds from the stereotypical University class room-style rooms and canteen food to what it actually is, which is modern style spaces and delicious restaurant quality food, served in brand new surroundings.”
