A student-led enterprise by the University of Northampton is launching its first experiential marketing product.

AR Experiential Ltd is managed by Scott Hope, a third-year Combined Studies/Marketing student, and was the first company to become a tenant at the University of Northampton’s Innovation Centre.

The technology provider supports the live events sector and focuses on experiential marketing. It is currently gearing up to launch immersar®, a platform for multi-sensory, live brand experiences.

Hope has also employed Lauren Ashby, a third-year marketing/journalism student from the university, and she will be responsible for building a social media platform and supporting Hope at industry events.

She said: “In addition to developing the social media strategy, I will also be running our press office at industry shows, managing interest from the media and scheduling interviews with Scott.”

Hope said: “I was keen to employ a student from the university, as I believe in nurturing the talent we have here on campus. I am developing a collaborative partnership with the university which will see AR Experiential look to support student-led project teams across the creative, digital, marketing and events disciplines.”

Hope is due to lead a panel debate on immersive technologies for the events industry at Event Tech Live in London on 11 November. Then he will be in Barcelona for ibtm world on 18 November where he will be speaking and introducing immersar® to industry buyers.
