Universal WorldEvents delivers training drive for Land Rover

Leicestershire-based Universal WorldEvents this summer delivered its first European Dealer Training Drive Programme as Land Rover’s global events management agency. 

Held in Sitges, near Barcelona, the training event involved 1,465 dealer sales staff from across Europe.

Each individual rotation involved two groups of 60, meaning there were 240 staff on site on any given day.

In addition to a day of training, staff were invited to drive the new Range Rover Sport at a motorsport track.

Universal WorldEvents’ role included all logistical elements of the event, venue finding (accommodation was provided at the Dolce Sitges hotel, along with further crew hotels, with an external lunch and dinner at the Can Bonastre Resort and Finca Mas Solers respectively), delegate registration and onsite management of the event.

The Universal WorldEvents personnel were part of a 60-strong team, including conference production personnel, that was on-site for four weeks in total.
