Leicestershire-based full service event management agency Universal WorldEvents has continued to support the winner of the Leeds Metropolitan University ’Student of the Year’ award, and this year presented Kieran Hollis with a travel bursary following his graduation in July.
Hollis achieved a first class honours degree in Events Management, and now that he has graduated he can use the prize towards furthering his travel experience.
“We are delighted that we are able to recognise talented graduates such as Kieran who has clearly excelled in his degree and will be an asset to the industry,” says Sales and Marketing Manager at Universal WorldEvents, Luke Flett. “We have worked hard to develop strong working relationships with academic institutions offering event management courses over the years as education, training and continued professional development is important to our organisation. Anything that encourages and facilitates networking between industry practitioners, lecturers and the student community can only be for the greater good of the industry.”
