Unique Venues of London members embraced the Jubilee weekend with a number of events taking place across the venues. The Museum of London celebrated with the new At Home with the Queen exhibition, a photographic display exploring the capital’s enduring affection for the Queen and capturing Londoners with their royal memorabilia in order to mark the Diamond Jubilee.
On Sunday, the Queen was greeted by the Chelsea Pensioners, the famous residents of Royal Hospital Chelsea, before embarking on a voyage down the river Thames, the biggest spectacle on the river for more than 300 years. The flotilla travelled past its final famous landmark, Tower Bridge, before dispersing and sailing on.
