England’s changing room at Twickenham Stadium has re-opened for event hire following an overhaul of the space as part of the stadium’s £75m redevelopment ahead of the Rugby World Cup in 2015.
The new-look changing rooms will be offered as part of the stadium’s event space portfolio, comprising dining facilities for 50 guests and breakout facilities for 100 delegates.
The external space in close proximity to the England changing rooms, includes the visitors’ changing rooms, the players’ tunnel and pitch side, has also been refurbished to further extend the events space.
Chris Morris, MD of Twickenham Experience, the body that operates all non-match day meetings, conferences and events at the stadium, said: “The England changing room is one of our most unique dining and meeting spaces within the stadium and is popular with our corporate clients. It is an inspirational space at the heart of Twickenham Stadium and we are delighted to be able to offer access to clients to create truly memorable events.”
