Events & Hospitality QM (Queen Mary) facilities have featured on TV three times in the last month, with the most recent live appearance coming on 5 January when Nicky Campbell’s The Big Questions (broadcast on BBC One) used the Octagon.
This live broadcast followed Question Time, which was held at the Octagon in December 2013. Queen Mary’s Great Hall featured in a celebration of dance bands in the same month with Len Goodman.
The Big Questions, which features debates on moral, ethical and religious issues, launched its seventh series at the Octagon following the production company’s familiarity with the venue through its successfully hosting of Question Time.
“We have an excellent track record with recorded TV and the successful hosting of a live TV permance has proven our partnership approach to events, combined with our attention to detail, delivers for our clients,” says Business Development Manager for Events & Hospitality QM, Sue Mussett.
Events & Hospitality QM offers over 100 event spaces at the university’s Mile End Campus, alongside facilities in the City of London and Whitechapel.
