On 9 August, Stamford-based venue finding and event management company, Trinity Event Solutions, celebrated the end of their Triple Challenge, which raised £20,840 for charity. The Trinity team visited 524 hotels and conference venues over one weekend March 2013, many of which donated prizes for an online auction. 262 people registered on the Trinity Triple Challenge auction website and placed 2,280 bids for 417 auction lots.
The target was to raise £20,000 for Rutland Sailability, Hospital at Home and the local Air Ambulance service. These three local charities were chosen by staff at the beginning of the year as part of Trinity’s on-going CSR programme and each received £6,667.00. The surplus has been donated to two more charities which Trinity supports: £740 to Meetings Industry Meetings Needs and £100 to Tenovus.
