Trinity House on Tower Hill has announced that the venue is now accepting bookings for conferences, small business meetings and corporate events in line with new government guidelines in either of the two larger functions rooms.

Trinity House also has an NHS QR Code which can be scanned and activated by all event attendees and visiting suppliers via the NHS Covid-19 tracing app.

Trinity House has been issued with Visit Britain’s ‘Good To Go’ Certificate of Assurance, as well as the Meetings Industry Association’s (mia) ‘Secure Accreditation’ Certificate.

While the venue was closed during lockdown, cleaning and disinfectant measures were put in place including a new and on-going schedule of commercial ‘fogging’ – the sterilisation and de-contamination of all internal surfaces with a chemical mist which has been proven to be non-harmful to humans, animals, plants, electrical equipment, artefacts and antiques.

Other measures in place include the installation of an internal one-way pedestrian route; opening more windows to encourage the flow of fresh air; and the increased employment of dedicated staff to clean ‘high touch points’ (including door handles, taps, coat rails, basins and benches) using the fogging disinfectant solution. In addition, Trinity House has purchased a ‘temperature gun’ which will be available for use by staff and clients upon request.

As standing receptions are currently prohibited, guests will be advised to maintain a distance of one-metre away from each other, and spaced seating will be arranged for all events.

Trinity House aims to increase bookings of ‘hybrid’ events, subsequent to the installation of high speed Wi-Fi.
