Travel management company Portman has announced the appointment of David Bishop to the position of sales director. Effective from 3 October 2016, Bishop will be responsible for all Portman’s sales activities both domestically and globally, working closely with Radius Travel, to drive Portman’s growth in new sales.
Commenting on the appointment, Portman’s CEO, Steve Allen said: “We are delighted to have David back. He was responsible for leading the team over many successful years previously, winning many of Portman’s largest clients. He returns to Portman with a detailed and unique understanding of our award winning technology, PortmanOne and with great insight into the distribution challenges facing our industry”.
Bishop added: “I am looking forward to the new challenges of my role and delighted to be part of a great business and team. My three years working for Atriis Technologies in developing PortmanOne has been a fantastic experience and very enjoyable. Portman has had great success with their innovation, award winning products and excellence in service delivery and I am excited to be leading the sales team again.”
