Audio-visual and entertainment technology company, Anna Valley, have announced that its 2022 Inspiration Showcase will take place at Tobacco Dock from 24-31 January 2022.
The annual event aims to inspire and inform event professionals by demonstrating how the creative application of audio-visual technology can enhance event experiences.
This will be the company’s third Inspiration Showcase and the first time that the event is hosted off-site. Anna Valley’s first Inspiration Showcase took place in July 2019, shortly after the company moved to its 3,902sqm premises in West London.
This was followed by another showcase in January 2020 which explored the use of mixed realities to create experiential events. After cancelling the 2021 event due to the Covid-19, Anna Valley’s 2022 Inspiration Showcase aims to reveal the techniques and tools event professionals need to navigate the new event landscape.

The event industry has experienced massive changes during the pandemic, and we believe this evolution will continue for some time as we look to apply lockdown learnings to live events going forwards. This year’s Inspiration Showcase celebrates the industry’s spirit of adventure and aims to provide the inspiration and knowledge event professionals will need for the year to come.”
The technology behind the event will be supplied and designed by Anna Valley with support from leading technology innovators and content designers including Banbury Walker and Target 3D amongst others. Attendees can expect to experience how event technology can be used to create alternate and extended realities for both in person and remote audiences, provide contactless engagement and personalise every attendee’s experience. The decision to host the 2022 Inspiration Showcase at Tobacco Dock follows Anna Valley being appointed as the event venue’s preferred audio-visual partner in June 2021. Moving the showcase to the premier East London venue will elevate the overall experience for attendees, provide easy access for London-based visitors and will help event professionals envisage how the technology on show could be used for their own events.
