The Chief Executive of the Titanic Belfast, Tim Husbands (pictured right), was one of 35 new MBEs named in the New Year Honours List.
Husbands received his honour for services to economic development and tourism. He said he was “personally deeply honoured and humbled”.
“This is recognition also of the significant projects and events that I have been fortunate enough to have led and been involved in that have seen Belfast rise to become an attractive and welcoming city for both leisure and business tourism,” Husbands added.
