Northern Ireland’s visitor attraction and event space, Titanic Belfast, has picked up the Northern Ireland Bureau’s award for Outstanding Contribution to Tourism in 2012, its ninth award since opening just over a year ago.
More than 800,000 visitors from 128 countries have experienced Titanic Belfast’s exhibition galleries and conference and banqueting suites in the attraction’s first 12 months of operation.
The award was presented to Titanic Belfast CEO Tim Husbands at a gala awards event at the Wateont Hall.
