The 2013 International Association of Conference Centres (IACC) – Europe Annual Conference, which takes place 3-4 November at Dolce Chantilly in France, will concentrate on educating members on ways to enhance the meetings experience at their conference and gain insights as to how to perm in a hyper-competitive marketplace, according to IACC CEO Mark Cooper.
“The conference will be more participation driven with an emphasis on relevant, cutting-edge content along with important opportunities for networking. Our key objective is to provide an exceptional ’IACC meeting experience’ for all delegates,” Cooper says.
Key speakers at the conference include Jan Gunnarson who will be discussing Hostmanship, the art of making people feel welcome; Mady Keup who will lead an interactive session delivered with students from SKEMA Business School; and Guy Bigwood who will look at how to use sustainability to drive efficiency, spur innovation, increase profits and improve customer satisfaction.
Other workshops include: ’Event Apps: Do they have a place in your conference centre?’ and ’Management by collecting BIG Data’.
IACC has partnered with SKEMA Business School, with offices in France, China, and the US, and has invited students from Nice, France to attend this year’s annual conference to provide important insights and observations into the views and preferences of Generation Y and the impact they will have on the meetings industry as they take on professional positions in corporate life.
