On 13 August, members of The National Honey Show and Sandown Park Racecourse gathered at the course in Esher to unveil a plaque to mark the centenary of the show.

The plaque was installed to recognise the commemorative tree planted by HRH The Princess Royal on 29 October 2023, on the opening day of last year’s show.

During her visit HRH The Princess Royal delivered a speech to officially open the 100th National Honey Show, engaged with traders, observed workshops and examined entries in the Junior classes.

The National Honey Show is the UK’s premier honey show with international classes, lecture convention and workshops and welcomes more than 3,000 delegates and exhibitors across the three-day event.

The next show will take place at Sandown Park Racecourse, 24-26 October 2024.
