The Grand Brighton held the Leonardo Hotels annual Agency Ball on 6 March, offering attendees the chance to experience the historic venue in action and explore the many benefits of the hotel’s conference and event facilities.

The Agency Ball welcomed over 250 event agents from travel management companies, event management agencies and venue finders who work with Leonardo Hotels.

The Agency Ball placed guests right in the heart of the 1900’s Regency era on Brighton Pier, featuring a cocktail reception with canapés and live entertainment in The Albert Room, the hotel’s original ballroom, which has recently been refurbished to showcase its historic features and high ceilings.

Guests were then invited to enjoy a three-course dinner followed by entertainment in The Empress Suite, including a three-act show featuring musical numbers in keeping with the era from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins and more.

The Empress Suite has the ability to hold up to 900 delegates, ideal for any exhibitions and events that require a flexible, large-scale space.

Located just 35 minutes from Gatwick or one hour from London Victoria by train, The Grand Brighton offers seven flexible meeting and event spaces, ideal for both intimate gatherings and large scale conferences.

In addition, the venue has 205 refurbished bedrooms and a new spa launching soon, which will include a hydrotherapy pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, treatment rooms and gym.

Maisie Phillips, director of sales Brighton at Leonardo Hotels said: “We are set to complete our £16.2m bedroom refurbishment next month so it was a fantastic opportunity for the events professionals who attended to experience the new wave of luxury at The Grand Brighton, and we would like to once again thank everyone who attended.”
