Having raised over £21,000 for charity in 2024, The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Royal Sutton Coldfield, North Warwickshire, has announced its 2025 partnerships with the Bodie Hodges Foundation, the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND), and Hospitality Action.
Already a proud supporter of the Bodie Hodges Foundation, The Belfry has hosted the charity’s annual golf day for seven years.
Founded in memory of Bodie Hodges, the foundation provides bereavement support to families who have lost a child, aiming to create a compassionate community and offer a range of resources to help families navigate profound loss in the Midlands area.
Nick Hodges, founder of the Bodie Hodges Foundation, said: “Over the past seven years, we have built extremely strong relationships with the fantastic staff across the resort, and we are both proud and excited to continue working with them throughout 2025. This partnership will not only raise vital funds to support families bereaved of a child, but it will also help raise our profile on a global scale.”
For the second year running, the resort will be partnering with the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND), a national charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by MND, improving access to care, and funding research.
The Belfry will also continue its long-standing and unwavering support for Hospitality Action. Providing relief for hospitality workers in crisis, the charity serves as a safety net for its beneficiaries, offering everything from financial assistance to mental health resources.
Chris Eigelaar, resort director at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, said: “Here at The Belfry, we’re committed to supporting the vital work of all these causes.”
Money will be raised through dedicated events, planned and organised by departments across the resort throughout the year.
This began in January with The Belfry’s annual awards ceremony, which raised over £2,000 for the Bodie Hodges Foundation.
With every department—from greenkeeping, sales, and front desk to finance, spa, and security—taking part, last year’s events included car washes, sponsored walks, golf challenges, tough mudders, marathons, competitions, The Belfry Auction, and the Walk for Wellbeing.
