Event support agency TEMBO has unveiled a new training and development service for event professionals.

The service, TEMBO TECHNIQUES, will aim to equip event professionals with skills required in the fields of conference production and event marketing.

TEMBO said the courses will have a strong emphasis on interactivity and hands-on learning, encouraging team members to learn through practical experience. It will have an option to tailor bespoke training solutions to meet specific business needs.

The courses are available in three formats: in-person, live online, and on-demand.

Kate Disley (pictured), CEO and founder of TEMBO, said: “In an ever-evolving event industry, staying ahead of the curve is vital. Our courses are meticulously designed to provide participants with the latest trends and best practices.”

The inaugural offering, ‘Conference Production 101’, will focus on creating high-quality event content. The course will establish a content development foundation for conferences, exhibitions, seminars and hybrid. It is delivered by Sindy Cain, an event and brand content strategist with a 15-year career in event production, including the delivery of more than 200 B2B events.

Cain said: “This course is pivotal for the event industry because it equips conference production professionals with tried and tested knowledge and methods necessary to curate high-quality, stand-out programmes for various types of events that deliver commercial success.”
