Over 100 event organisers, representing 80 organisations, will be attending Gallus Events’ inaugural Tech-Fest event to be held at The Mermaid conference centre in London on 18 June.

Tech-Fest will look at the latest in event technology in an interactive forum.

The entire event will be live streamed from the Tech-Fest website.
Those who are unable to attend in person are encouraged to interact via
Twitter using hashtag #techfest12.

As well as support from The Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO), Tech-Fest has the backing of event software companies including: etouches; QuickMobile and PeopleHunt.

Steve Mackenzie, the Vice President at etouches said: “We are keen to support new and exciting events in the UK. The fact that Tech-Fest is now fully booked shows that there is a great demand for the type of innovation that Tech-Fest offers, not just attendees but for supporters”.

William Thomson, the MD of Gallus Events added: “We are trying a few different things at Tech-Fest and we are delighted that our messaging has resonated with so many event organisers. We have attendees from every sector and every size of organisation. The technology companies who have come on board have demonstrated their understanding of the ‘new world’ of events.”
