Surrey-based food design and event management company Tapenade has secured a five-year contract at The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT).

Tapenade has, for the past three years, been catering for all 5,000 VIP hospitality clients, including Rolls Royce, UTC Aerospace, Boeing, Marshalls, QinetiQ, Airbus Group and Saab. This year Tapenade is also catering for the Red Arrows team who will be attending the event and celebrating their 50th year.

Tapenade works closely with main client, The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises, and it is the Trust that has agreed the five-year deal to continue supplying the catering for all VIP hospitality clients. The contract will also include RIAT’s 100th anniversary year – 2018.

Tim Stevens, MD of The Best Parties Ever Group of which Tapenade is a part, says: “We’re really excited to have secured this five-year agreement and we’re looking forward to continuing our close working relationship with The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises to make future RIATs a huge success.”

The event, the world’s largest military air show, is held at RAF Faird, Gloucestershire. This year’s event runs from 11-13 July.
