Stadium Experience’s Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2022 are now open for entry, following a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19 restrictions.
This year will see 12 categories, including two new awards – Outstanding Contribution and Best Retail Catering – which recognise the best stadium venues across the UK.
The closing date for entries is 1 April, with the results revealed at a ceremony on 26 May at Liverpool F.C’s Anfield Stadium. The event will be the 15th awards and will also mark Stadium Experience’s 20th anniversary this year.
Debbie Rigney, marketing and PR manager for Stadium Experience, said: “As our stadium venues begin to look ahead, it’s great to celebrate our amazing venues and their outstanding teams.”
Organisers said all pre-existing award entries, ticket bookings and paid sponsorships from 2020 will automatically be moved to the 2022 awards event, unless otherwise indicated. Event details are subject to change in line with the latest Government restrictions.
Each category is independently judged by experienced industry experts. They are as follows:

- Visiting Rugby Directors Award – Available for sponsorship
- Visiting Football Directors Award – Sponsored by FC Business
- Matchday Hospitality Award (Awards by Small, Medium & Large Stadiums) – Sponsored by MSL Verteda
- Overall Matchday Hospitality Award
Tickets for the event are now on sale and start from £99 each.
