Somerset House has appointed Jenny Smith as its new head of corporate events. She joins the venue from the Saatchi Gallery, where she was head of venues.
Smith, said: “I am honoured to be joining the Somerset House team and taking up this position at one of London’s most spectacular venues. We have a busy autumn ahead with space available for private hire in our East Wing Galleries, our ever popular Skate and the newly announced Hair By Sam McKnight celebrating the master hair stylist’s remarkable 40-year career. I am looking forward to using my own experience to build on the success of the department.”
Diana Spiegelberg, deputy director at Somerset House, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jenny to our team. Jenny’s wealth of experience and knowledge of the industry is the perfect fit to help develop Somerset House’s event offering.”
