Somerset House launches additional DDR packages

A set of 18th Century rooms, which were once home to the Navy Board for overseeing British Naval affairs, can now be hired for the first time as a day delegate rate package at Somerset House.

Somerset House has launched new Navy Board Rooms packages in response to demand for smaller conferences of up to 60 people.

The three flexible rooms can be used for a variety of purposes and are flooded with natural light.  With a capacity of 60 theatre-style, these event spaces offer guests spectacular views across the River Thames. Within the room layout, there is also flexibility for catering and breakout spaces.

As part of the package, one of Somerset House’s preferred AV and production suppliers, Broadsword, will provide the very latest AV equipment and ensure everything is set up in time for delegates’ arrival.

Guests using the atmospheric Navy Board Rooms who want to delve into the venue’s history a little deeper, can also take advantage of specially arranged historical tours or tickets to an exhibition which can provide something special to the DDR packages.

The Navy Board Rooms package includes hire of the main conference room from 8am to 4.30pm; breakout spaces; chairs, lectern and stage; top-of-the-range AV equipment including 65” LCD screen, laptop and PA system; cloakroom; three catering choices and a dedicated AV technician. Also included within the package will be a dedicated Event Planner who can take care of every detail required.
