Somerset House and its catering partner Bryn Williams hosted a networking event for 175 corporate, agency and association buyers to display its day delegate rate (DDR) and Christmas packages.
Clients in attendance included Pinsent Masons, The Food and Drink Federations and Canvas Events.
The catering included options that reflect the popularity of Veganuary such as heritage beetroot and truffle hummus canapes, roasted aubergine and tofu teriyaki bowls and a vegan live food station.
The venues DDR and Christmas packages were on display for the guests alongside its Portico Rooms, which has the capacity to host 200 guests.
Additional Somerset House suppliers were also working the event such as Fisher Productions, Ficklestix, Pinstripes & Peonies and Euphonica.
An attendee from the charity UK Missions, commented: “It’s a stunning venue, the rooms tonight are really well laid out and give everyone a chance to network and socialise. I think it would be perfect for a mixer type reception, which I will definitely consider in the future for our charity.”
They continued: “The staff have been amazing and attentive. It is also great to see Bryn Williams catering to vegan and vegetarian attendees. As a vegetarian myself it was superb to see such a huge variety of food and for once not feel excluded.”
Luci Sorrell, business development manager of the commercial events team, Somerset House, concluded that the “event was a great success” and that it provided guests with “an early taste of Christmas with themed rooms and festive canapes, it was also the perfect opportunity to highlight our recently launched Christmas packages.”
