Rick Stainton, founder and group executive director, Smyle met with Cheryl Clarke, founder and executive director and Mark Saxby, executive director from C2events at an exclusive Virgin Sunday Times Fast Track 100 event.
Held in the grounds of the Branson family home in Oxfordshire, the event brought together the leaders of the fastest growing top 100 private businesses in Britain to celebrate their companies’ achievements. One of the highlights of the event, hosted by Holly Branson, was a Q&A session with her father, Sir Richard Branson.
Commenting on the event Stainton, of Smyle said, “I really enjoyed asking Sir Richard about the opportunity he regretted most letting get away as well as the one he regretted most in pursuing.”
Clarke added: “It was excellent to be recognised in this way and be positioned as one of several companies making a real contribution to the UK economy.”
Saxby also added: “There was a range of companies featured from house builders to online platform businesses including a number of household names, so it was great to be there from the events industry.”
Smyle was ranked 66th with average annual growth over 3 years of 56.27% and C2 in 85th with 49.07%.
