Newsreader and journalist Sir Trevor McDonald OBE has been announced as the keynote speaker for the Black Men Business Talks hosted during the UK Black Business Week.

McDonald, best known for his career as a news presenter with ITN, will speak at the event on 26 October, which is part of a week-long programme of events at QEII Centre in London.

The programme from 25-30 October will feature events delivered by industry leaders and aims to equip Black professionals, entrepreneurs and allies of the Black community with business insights, new skills and knowledge.

The week will culminate with the UK Black Business Show, which will highlight the achievements and contributions black businesses have made to the economy.

McDonald will be joined by fellow speakers Byron Cole, founder of The BLC Group and Author; Kojo Marfo, creative director at My Runway Group; Mark Maciver barber, Business adviser, speaker and CEO of SliderCuts; and Dr Tunde Okewale MBE, award-winning barrister.
