Align Partners, a specialist real estate investment and asset management platform, has appointed Alan McDougall as head concierge of Scotland’s Mar Hall Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort, as part of a new investment in its meeting and events offering.
McDougall, chairman of The Society of The Golden Keys of Great Britain and The Commonwealth, brings his passion for meetings to Mar Hall, where a multi-million-pound renovation is underway, designed to transform the Resort into an exclusive luxury five-star destination.
Mar Hall Hotel offers flexible meeting rooms and intimate Clyde or Garden Suites, while Morton House provides space for 170 guests and larger events.
McDougall said: “Members of the Society of the Golden Keys strive to set new standards for guest service perfection and that’s the ethos I’ll bring to Mar Hall, alongside my passion for great hospitality. Joining the team amid a period of extensive investment offers an exciting opportunity to truly elevate the guest experience for business, leisure, and special occasions.
