VisitScotland Business Events has launched a new national ambassador network that it hopes will bring together experts, influencers and the next generation of innovators.
The series of events, which are being held throughout the country, has been billed ‘INNOVATETHENATION.’
Featuring several free evening talks that celebrate Scotland’s legacy, innovation and its global reputation as a knowledge economy, the talks will work to demonstrate the importance of business events and highlight where ambassadors can help influence in bringing these events to Scotland.
The programme and its content also reflect the ethos of Scotland’s wider Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design for 2016.
The first instalment, INNOVATEMARINE, commences on 29 September 2016 at St. Andrew’s University, Fife. Speakers include Dr Raeanne Miller from the Scottish Association for Marine Science in Oban and Professor Vincent Janik, Director of the Scottish Oceans Institute at the University of St. Andrews.
The second conference, INNOVATETECH, takes place on the 6 October in Inverness.
