Scarborough and Whitby on film for Confex

As the Oscars are given out in Hollywood, Scarborough and Whitby will be debuting in a film prepared for International Confex documenting the business tourism facilities available in coastal destinations. 
 
A partnership between York and Scarborough Conferences, Scarborough Council, Welcome to Yorkshire and private sector businesses has produced the new footage which includes conference space and incentive and team-building options available in the area.
 
Venues featured include the recently redeveloped Scarborough Spa, Whitby Pavilion, the Crown Spa Hotel and Raithwaite Hall, as well as the Yorkshire Moors Railway and Europe’s largest open-air theatre.
 
Janet Deacon, North Yorkshire Area Director for Welcome to Yorkshire, hopes the new marketing tool enables our venues to attract further meetings and events business said:
“The film really gives a good snapshot of what’s on offer in the region.”
 
The film will be premiered on stand B1112 at International Confex, 6-8 March, at London Excel.
