The Royal York Hotel in North Yorkshire has unveiled its new events centre following a £500,000 investment.
The
hotel’s purpose-built events centre has increased its capacity to host
larger conferences of up to 410 delegates. The refurbishment has created
a separate events space and introduced a conference café with built in
coffee breakout areas.
The Wheel of York, a 10 storey high
observatory wheel, is set in the hotel’s gardens, and with three and a
half acres of grounds the hotel can host outdoor activities and
teambuilding exercises.
“The facilities on offer together with
the prime city centre location make The Royal York Hotel a great option
for conference and event organisers,” says Sales Manager for The Royal
York Hotel, Claire Mills. “Our new partnership with the Wheel of York
has provided a great space to host coffee, lunch or syndicate pods at
the hotel.”
