Event caterers Seasoned Events, part of the Crown Group, catered for the movie premiere of Hunger Games: Catching Fire produced by Lionsgate Films, last night (11 November) at the Royal Courts of Justice.

As venue manager and sole caterers at RCJ, Seasoned Events was selected by Premier PR to host the event, which was attended by 1,000 guests including Jennifer Lawrence and her co-stars Elizabeth Banks, Jena Malone, Willow Shield and Donald Sutherland. Other celebrities included Jamelia, Ellie Goulding and Sophie Ellis-Bexter.

Once inside the venue, guests were treated to champagne and canapes, including pan fried bubble and squeak with quails egg, skewer of king prawns infused with ginger, chilli and garlic, as well as venison wellington with a red currant and red onion jam.

Cocktails and bowl food were also served, including wild boar sausages with caramelised apple and potato puree and roasted snapper with a horseradish crust on a beetroot salad and pear barley risotto with minted courgettes.

“The team have been spoilt over the last few weeks, having hosted the Attitude Awards at RCJ, and then catered for the launch of the Call of Duty video game,” said MD of Seasoned Events, Colin Sayers. “This film premiere adds to the credibility of the venue hosting this type of event and is testament to the capability of the Seasoned Events team.”
