The Event Supplier and Services Association has announced that there are only seven team places left for ‘In The Rough’, the association’s annual event industry charity golf tournament which this year will be held at The Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, Wales on 19 July 2018.
Andrew Harrison, ESSA director, explained why ‘In The Rough’ isn’t just for golfers, saying: “Aside from tee sponsorship opportunities and the effortless and informal networking opportunities, non-golfers can also enjoy the relaxing surroundings of the Celtic Manor Resort, with its eleven bars and restaurants to choose from, and the fundraising gala dinner in the evening.”
“This year we are collecting for Macmillan Cancer Support and Sparks, the Children’s Medical Care Charity. These charities both do outstanding and important work supporting cancer sufferers and funding groundbreaking research in paediatric medicine. Last year we were able to raise thousands of pounds for them both, and I hope this year we can do even better.”
In The Rough 2018 is supported by headline sponsor BeMatrix, and event partners Mash Media, InEvexco, Jungheinrich Materials Handling and Perton Signs. Tee sponsorship, and other opportunities to support the event are still available.
