Unique Venues of London (UVL) says it is expecting a record number of attendees to its fourth annual Expo at Somerset House (2 October).

The 78-venue consortium, established in 1993, has also announced its key speaker line up, which includes Richard Dodgson from Time Based Events, who will speak on the events legacy of the Olympics at 10am. A Q&A session will follow.

Following the morning Expo, guests will embark upon a fully-booked FAM trip which takes in four of the UVL members: HMS Belfast, Museum of London, Trinity House and Tower Bridge.

There will be an evening reception at Tower Bridge which includes cocktails, canapés, bowl food and live entertainment provided by exclusive caterers Fizz.

This year, 100 prizes have been donated by members for a draw on the night.

Moya Maxwell, Head of Commercial Programming at the Royal Opera House and Chairman of UVL, says: “The UVL Expo is shaping up to be an exciting and influential event, and we consider it a testament to our member venues that so many key people are involved this year. We are very much looking forward to the event and welcoming past and new visitors.”
