The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has appointed Thomas Morgan as head of venues and events delivery.

In his new role, Morgan will lead and develop the venue and events teams across RIBA’s historic headquarters, 66 Portland Place in London.

Since joining the venue, Morgan has hosted a recent Open House event – a half-day session attended by notable corporates and agents which was framed by topical discussions hosted by some of the industry’s respected voices.

Thomas Morgan, comments: “I am excited to be heading up the Venues and Events delivery departments at RIBA at 66 Portland Place. This breath-taking Art Deco masterpiece is an incredible setting for high-profile events with a strong client base.

“I am looking forward to working with the team to maximise the potential for commercial success, with new initiatives, programmes, and event opportunities, whilst raising even greater awareness of the capabilities of our heritage building within new sectors and markets.”
