On Monday 10 September 2012, The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, hosted a drinks party in celebration of Team GB’s sporting success at the Olympics and Paralympics.
The party brought together familiar faces from this summer’s Games such as Lewis Moody and members of Team GB including Tom Daley, Greg Rutherd, Anthony Joshua, Nicola Adams, Samantha Murray, Constantine Louloudis, Jonnie Peacock, and the Gold medal winning Men’s Coxless Four that included Pete Reed, Andy Triggs-Hodge, Tom James and Alex Gregory. The guests arrived fresh from the victory parade through London following and address by Prime Minister David Cameron and Boris Johnson on the Mall. The sporting heroes were joined by a host of celebrity fans of the hotel including Eric Lanlard and Richard Young.
The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant served champagne and a selection of delectable canapés to reflect the Best of British theme including goats cheese and pistachio balls with rhubarb relish, devilled crab cakes and Roquefort and poached pear cone.
