Manchester-based live communications agency WRG has announced job cuts in its UK team and also the closure of its office in Qatar later this year.
The past few weeks have also seen some new senior arrivals into the UK, US and Asian businesses as the agency moves its focus to five key industrial sectors: healthcare, energy, technology, luxury and financial and professional services.
WRG says that despite pulling out of Qatar, it will continue to operate in the region from its Abu Dhabi office.
The company did not disclose how many staff had been made redundant but a statement on its website said the changes had been made “to ensure we continue to grow in a smart and sustainable way and that we continue to deliver for our clients brilliantly”.
