It has been announced that individuals in Northern Ireland who are fully vaccinated will no longer need to quarantine for ten days if someone they have been in contact with tests positive for Covid-19.
Instead of quarantining, they must take a PCR test on days two and eight of what would have been their ten-day quarantine period.
Other relaxations include the removal of social distancing on public transport alongside any limit to the number of individuals on a table.
Conference centres can also reopen, welcoming the return of conferences and exhibitions.
These changes came into force on 16 August.
