RefTech, an event registration, scanning, and badging solutions company, has unveiled its latest innovation, ScanPod Mobile, on stand B45C at International Confex at Excel London this week.
Designed to bring greater flexibility and real-time data capabilities to attendee scanning, ScanPod Mobile offers a handheld solution that complements RefTech’s existing suite of event technology.
Building on the success of the original ScanPod, ScanPod Mobile delivers all the essential scanning functions – entry scanning, session & seminar scanning, verification scanning, access control, and delegate entitlement – now in a lightweight, handheld format. Connecting via local Wi-Fi or mobile data, ScanPod Mobile accesses the event database in real time, offering immediate updates and live data tracking.
One notable feature of ScanPod Mobile is its ability to integrate with existing ScanPods. Organisers can use both technologies together or separately, depending on event needs. For example, a self-scan pod can be placed at the main entrance, while staff use ScanPod Mobile at side entrances, or both can operate at the same checkpoint, offering flexibility.
