An exhibition organiser has signed an exclusive deal with an airline alliance.
Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE), organiser of events including ibtm world in Barcelona, will offer clients attending its events discounts on the network of the global airline alliance oneworld.
The airline alliance serves more than 1,000 destinations in 150 countries.
The groundbreaking deal will cover 19 of the largest travel industry shows in 2016.
Nick Pilbeam, divisional director of Reed Travel Exhibitions, said: “Being the world’s largest travel event organiser, with shows on all continents and customers travelling all over the globe to attend our events, the synergy with oneworld’s global network, with 15 major carriers and their affiliates, is an excellent fit for our customers.”
